Make. Belong. Become.

Guiding the next generation of kind, compassionate humans and makers.

Does your child love making things?

This fall, they don't just craft — they build a real business. Little Makers Market is an 8-week workshop series where kids ages 7-12 develop their own product, learn to pitch it, price it, and share it with the community at their very own market night. Held at Craft Haus Pottery and Clay Studio in North Palm Beach, surrounded by the work of real local artisans, this is the experience your young maker has been waiting for.

Meet Your Workshop Leader

Hi, I'm Jacquelyn — but these days, most people just call me Jac. I'm a Hobe Sound-based event planner, children's book author/ illustrator, youth soccer coach, and community builder.

I created Little Makers Market because I know firsthand how much kids light up when someone believes in their ideas and gives them a real stage to stand on.

I can't wait to build something real with your kid.

As Seen On

Little Makers Market has been featured on WPBF News and in Jupiter Magazine — because watching kids build real businesses from scratch is a story worth telling. Market Night also features live performances from young local talent, giving our makers a full market atmosphere with music, energy, and community — not just tables.

Come Ready to Build

This session moves fast, so we ask makers to arrive on Week 1 with an idea already in mind — something they want to make or sell. Need inspiration? We'll send a short list of maker ideas before the session starts to help spark that thinking.

What We’ll Do

Week 1 — Welcome to the Maker World Explore Craft Haus with a scavenger hunt, meet your workshop leader and market mates, get inspired, and lock in your big idea. Bring an idea, leave with a plan.

Week 2 — Know Who You're Making It For + Take Up Space Learn to think about the people who will love your creation, design your promotional flyer, and start thinking about product lineup — most makers do best with 2-3 items, often one bigger piece paired with something smaller and quicker to make, themed together.

Week 3 — Start Making + Packaging & Presentation Hands-on building begins — bring your supplies and start bringing your idea to life. We'll also cover packaging and presentation, so every product looks as good as it is by market night.

Week 4 — Keep Building + Solidify Your Pricing Continue building and refining, plus a real lesson in cost vs. profit — kids calculate what their materials actually cost and lock in pricing with real numbers, not guesses.

Week 5 — Signage & Pricing Cards Design your booth sign and create your pricing cards, all in class so it's one less thing to juggle at home before market night.

Week 6 — Making, Artisan Guest Speaker + Cash Management A real local maker shares their story, plus hands-on practice counting change and handling money with confidence.

Week 7 — Making & Pitch Practice More production time, plus practicing your pitch out loud — so market night feels exciting, not nerve-wracking.

Week 8 — Making, Pitching & Booth Setup Final production and pitch run-throughs, with booth setup practice if time allows — everyone walks out confident and ready for the big night.

As a teacher and mama, everything you did was so perfectly planned. The details were amazing. I never had any questions because you already thought of everything. All of the personal things you did with the kids - feedback, emails to us, making them feel special and heard.. was all amazing. You are a gem!!
— Eileen K.

What Parents Are Saying

Jac over delivers in this very sweet little class... The community, dedication, and love poured through. All the little details really made this experience beyond what I expected. Highly recommend!
— Lauren R.
Great learning experience for the kids and the parents! I cannot say it enough, you did such an incredible job
— Jamie H.

Bonus Event - Capture the Flag

Somewhere in the middle of the season, we're adding something extra just for fun. Join us for a community Capture the Flag day.

Kids will craft their own team flags, then battle it out capture-the-flag style with games, team colors, and a kickoff ceremony. It's where the Little Makers community really comes alive — new makers and graduates building friendships that go beyond the workshop.

The Grand Finale — Market Night

Saturday, November 7th from 5-7 PM at Craft Haus, North Palm Beach. Free and open to the whole community.

Think warm fall evening, local food, families and neighbors — and your kid running their very own table.

This is the moment they'll never forget.

And the best part? They keep every dollar they earn.

Every graduate receives a completion certificate and their own Little Makers Market apron that they create in the workshop.

A Note on Supplies: Basic craft supplies (paint, paper, and general materials) are provided during every session. Materials specific to your child's product aren't included in tuition, since every maker's project is different. We encourage using recycled or repurposed materials where possible — it's a great way to keep costs down and ties right into the resourcefulness we're teaching. Once your child locks in their big idea in Week 2, we'll talk through what materials they'll need and ideas of where to find them affordably.
